This series of posts are an ode to places and bloggers. Basically outfits and shoots of bloggers that describe their hometown or the place they live in. I have started this series a long time ago and thought it was time to take it back.

If you want to know more about Fashion & The City, head here where you can also check previous guest posts on the page. As said before it’s all about bloggers, their style and their city/country.

A Sentimental Adventure x Chicago

FASHION & THE CITY

Blogger: Christina from A Sentimental Adventure
Where: Chicago, USA

Christina from A Sentimental Adventure was very kind to accept my request of finding some photos of her favorite places in the city she lives in: Chicago. She lives in the heart of good old America and I couldn’t wait to know more about it.

What is she wearing? Chambray Dress – Mint Julep / Oxfords – Shein.

But I will leave with her words on Chicago: “One of my favorite things to do in my city is visit coffee shops as a way to experience different neighborhoods. Some coffee shops I love are Bow Truss in Lakeview, Metropolis in Edgewater, Intelligenstia in Wicker Park, Ipsento in Logan Square, and La Colombe in Andersonville. At night I enjoy sipping cocktails and eating tasty food; opportunities for this are plentiful in Chicago. Scofflaw in Logan Square serves amazing cocktails and house-made gin. The Monkey’s Paw in Lincoln Park makes the most delicious farm-to-table dishes. We are lucky to have fun places nearby in Irving Park and Lincoln Square including Pitchfork Saloon and the lovely and intimate Windy City Playhouse.

And again: “Since I can’t ALWAYS be eating and drinking, I make plenty of time to experience the fantastic architecture and nature in Chicago. The riverwalk along the Chicago River provides incredible views of towering skyscrapers. A stroll through Edgewater provides a tour of historic brownstone homes and hotels that once housed prominent celebrities; their shadows cast over the always-pleasant Hollywood Beach along the vast coast of Lake Michigan.”

I have really enjoyed visiting Chicago through Christina’s eyes even if just virtually. I believe that a city is best told by its locals, so bloggers beware because I will keep digging from fashion/travel/beauty/lifestyle bloggers all around the blogosphere.
