I love snow. I should quote Lorelai Gilmore when she said “everything is magical when it snows” because it truly is. Waking up and seeing the sunlight sparkle on that soft layer of snow is just beautiful.
Last weekend me and my group of friends decided to go skiing in the Alps, Italy in Madonna di Campiglio and these are the pictures from the first day. Unless for icy roads and a chill wind, everything else was delightful. I coudn’t contain myself and I went to take some pictures. Analog of course. That film roll will be developed soon so expect a few black and white shots.
MADONNA DI CAMPIGLIO
While the others went skiing (I had no equipment nor time to rent it), me and Elisa went wandering through the wood and to a ski slope to end up taking pictures. 😀 There was no cloud in the sky and the snow was soft so we really relaxed for a few hours. Later on the day, we went downtown to the village of Madonna di Campiglio for a hot chocolate near the frozen lake and to do some food shopping, obviously. |
what I was wearing: Prada white jacket (old) / Napapijri Backpack / white Moon Boot
Now back to reality. I decided to change Moon Boot for a comfier and smaller boots on my way down to the village without thinking of the damn iced sidewalk. I was panicking every two steps and I was so relieved to see actual concrete. Then the way up was incredibly tiring for the same reason but on the bright side it was the same of exercising at the gym. 😎 At night we prepared dinner, had tons of laughs and chilled inside by the fireplace. |
Have you ever been to the Italian Alps?
Or how do you feel about snow?
