Have you ever needed some inspiration to create two simple outfits, one for the day and one for the night? Well, I have, so here is my effort of finding two winter pieces, one perfect for daily errands and one elegant enough for a night out, either a fancy dinner or only for a cocktail. I have styled them for you.

Dezzal* has pieces from different designers and I was looking for something very cosy and something more glamorous. I ended up with choosing a big knit cardigan and a fancy dress with a lace and feather combo.

Day Option

The Knit Cardigan

Even though it was a sunny day, it was pretty chilly outside, don’t be fooled! My choice of this big knit cardigan was right on point. It is of a dark brown/green colour which suits the weather plus it is very cosy and warm. It has bat sleeves which is the only downside for me since I cannot wear any jacket above it. Length is perfect and I highly suggested if you’re looking for a casual outwear in between a proper jacket and a knitwear. I then styled it the way I like to dress which is still grunge/indie with this lovely bodysuit from Topshop (soon a proper blog post dedicated to it – it deserves it), some Disco Pants from Boohoo (unfortunately wrong size, I ordered them online and didn’t feel like sending them back – this is the usual lazy me!), some boots from Topshop and my beloved Rayban Clubmaster. Night Option

The Lace – Feathers Dress

As for this dress, it was love at first sight. I love the lace and feathers combo. You won’t need anything else if not a pair of heels because this dress is already a lot! I have to give some information if you want to order it because of the sizes, which a little tricky. If you are a skinny girl, take the smallest size, if instead you are more curvy like me, well don’t go too big. I choose a Large size and it was too loose, especially on the lace top part.

Anyway the importance of this dress needs its space meaning don’t put too much with it. I suggest you a nice purse, some heels, black tights if it is too cold and nothing more.
