I finally styled the Off The Shoulders Trend in three different outfits and it looks very flattering and easy to wear even in this season where we are transitioning from summer to autumn.
The Off The Shoulders Trend
3 Ways to Wearing it
It is all summer that bloggers and not have been wearing the same trend: the off the shoulders one! Of course I am always late since autumn is approaching but at least here in Italy it is still summer by day and autumn by night! Meaning I can still wear these 3 outfits pretty much all day.
I was contacted by Gearbest to choose some of their items to review and I wanted to give the off the shoulder trend I try since it was so flattering on every girl I have seen wearing it. So you will see 3 different outfits: two dresses (one shirt one and a white one) and a top.
#1 – The White Dress
First of all I have to say I am not the biggest white fan in the world but this shape of dress is so flattering. I was really impressed by the quality of this stretch cotton dress. Price is 18$ and it would be perfect for so many different occasions: a day of shopping around town, an evening out for a drink with friends or a throw on dress to go to the beach (okay, for next year!).
I haven’t paired it up with anything, but it would look adorable with a fedora hat and a clutch. Honestly even a little backpack would look cute (I am thinking of simile-Chanel one that I have seen on Zara THIS ONE). Am I not right?!
#2 – The White Top
What I am Wearing – Rayban Round / Gearbest White Top* / Topshop Joni Jeans in Blue / River Island Sandals
This top is in cotton and it is a cream white to be honest. Fabric is great, it is a medium size and it is slightly big but in this way you can style it in two ways: inside your jeans or tie a knot on one side. I think they both look very nice.
Since the top is very loose and wide, it is perfect for high-waisted tight jeans or a A-shape skirt. Even a pair of simple black leggings would do a proper job. Anyway this outfit is indeed perfect for wandering around town at sunset or any other time you prefer.
#3 – The Shirt Dress
This dress is the exact shape of the first white one but the material is completely different. This one is a shirt alike material, extremely light, which takes seconds to dry up and it looks very sophisticated. From the pictures it seems blue but it is actually a stripy white-blue one!
The only thing I would do with this dress is using a belt to give it more shape around the waist because it is very straight. Other than this, it is absolutely a recommendation from me. Quality/price even here is absolutely to die for (it’s only 7$!!!!!!) and I can confirm what everybody else is saying: the off the shoulders trend is so flattering; not too girly as I was afraid and versatile from a casual day dress to a fancy one for evenings.
What do you think? What’s your fav??
